a week agoIt was crowded and there was a little bit of a wait. Make sure you take a number first, because there is no line. Just wait for your number to be called and then order. I came here because I heard they had the best bagels in New York City. I can’t disagree. I had the Scottish salmon with scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel and it was gone way too soon. It was delicious. I’m not sure which was better, the salmon, the bagel or the cream cheese . For as crowded as it was, the service was fast and very friendly and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back here.

a month agoThe lox sandwich, which is what you come for, is indeed very very delicious. The lox are fresh and delicate and the bagel is chewy and delicious. The question is, is it 20.00 dollars delicious? For a one time experience, definitely. But I cannot imagine making this my go-to bagel shop. Try it, love it, move on. Cute names for the menu items, though.

a week agoRuss has one of the best bagels in town, a massive variety with plenty of fish options as well. Opt for a garlic bagel stuffed with extra shmeare and add salmon, onions, capers, and a spoon of some caviar. The bagels can take a real stuffing, and it is delicious. Highly recommend

a month agoYum! It’ll be packed when you visit, surely but the wait isn’t long and the service was great! Quite a big selection of bagels and fish and cream cheese to choose from here. Make sure you take a number when you first walk in - that’s how they work through the line. You can buy merchandise and even caviar here too! We had the lox bagel with tomato, onion and caper ( all of which you pay extra for so be sure to only order what you absolutely want on your bagel so as to not be over charged for something you’ll just pick off) it was really good. We will definitely be back!

a month agoWe ordered the Classic Salmon Lox, Pastrami, and the Meshugge Bagels. So delicious, definitely worth stopping by. The cream cheese is to die for and the overall experience was great. Staff were super helpful and kind. Clean environment as well.
